The "Back-to-School Registration" for the 2026-2027 school year is now open.

Our registration system is available to all returning and incoming Feeder School 9th-grade students for SY 2026-27.

The El Monte Union High School District offers our online "Back-to-School Registration" system (also known as OLR) through the Synergy Parent Portal. Simply verify that the information on file is still correct and update anything that is incorrect. If you are new to the system, you'll be asked to provide any vital information that's missing so our records are complete for each student.

Note: You must have a ParentVUE account to use this system, which is provided to all new parents and guardians from your home school; see below for more information on your account activation requirements. The “Back-To-School Registration” is for...
Students previously enrolled at EMUHSD schools, including Arroyo HS, El Monte HS, Fernando Ledesma HS, Community Day School, Mountain View HS, Rosemead HS, South El Monte HS, or the Adult Transition Center.
Also...

Students who attended 8th grade at any of the following middle schools within our district boundaries, including Columbia, Durfee, Frank Wright, Gidley, Potrero, Rio Hondo, Monte Vista, Parkview, Twin Lakes, Muscatel, or Shively schools.

Important Tips for EMUHSD Parents & Guardians New to ParentVUE and “Back-to-School Registration” (OLR):
If you have never used our online registration system or ParentVue portal, an activation code is required only for the first login. You will receive the ParentVUE activation code from your home school site or upon request from the school's front office staff. An activation code is not needed if you have already created a ParentVue account for our district (for example, you may already have a student enrolled in our district). Once you have used the code to activate your ParentVUE account, you will use the login credentials you created for any future access to this system.
